The 2007 Sommer Prize for Macular Degeneration Research
Congratulations to Dr. Paul Sternberg, Chairman of Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. In a competitive program, requests for scientific proposals were sent to hundreds of retinal specialists and basic scientists.
Dr. Sternberg's proposal received the highest rating by our scientific board, thus he is the recipient of The 2007 Sommer Prize for Macular Degeneration Research.
